As a recovering addict from self approval and perfectionism, the theme of this website is about finding true freedom in Christ. In my pursuit of Christ, I have failed immensely in my attempt to find confidence in my own righteousness which often led to discouragement and depression from disappointment. However, I have come to realize that my impatience in the journey of becoming more like Christ has often led me to focusing more on my love for God than God’s love for me. Therefore, the theme is to see the adventure of sanctification, including suffering, as a day by day journey that has an long-term and eternal perspective.

The vision for this website is simply to provide biblical perspective and a language for the soul in particular subjects like: Christian living, marriage, relationships, singleness, motherhood and ministry. I, by no means claim to be a professional in any of these areas, but have found tremendous amount of joy and fruit in sharing biblical and practical wisdom particularly as an Asian + American + Christian + Woman.

My prayer is that the words shared brings the hope of the Gospel where there is hopelessness, clarity where there is confusion and practicality where there is an absence of wisdom and vision.
